On the occasion of the launch of the new chapter of AstroBot, one of the most anticipated titles by gamers around the world, PlayStation tasked us with designing and hosting an exclusive event for Playmakers, content creators, and industry journalists.
The project was born from the idea of transforming this launch into an important opportunity to bring together the brand’s most loyal community and strengthen their sense of belonging. Our role was to make this moment spectacular, through a series of technological installations that immersed guests in the fantastic universe of AstroBot.
At the entrance, a large wall of screens welcomed guests, displaying the protagonist’s iconic poses and moves in a loop. Next to it, a photobooth allowed for personalized photo memories of the evening.
Crossing the threshold into the main hall, guests were literally transported into the world of AstroBot, thanks to immersive projections of the game’s extraordinary settings. Realistic and interactive models of some characters, gaming stations, and decor elements created an engaging scenario, an ideal stage for hosting challenges among participants in “speed run” mode.
A crane machine, restored and customized for the occasion, offered the chance to win themed gadgets by competing to grab spheres containing the most coveted prizes before anyone else.
